II. Data Processed

The app uses TelemetryDeck for anonymized usage analytics. Only anonymized or not directly personal usage data is collected, in particular:

  • anonymized user ID
  • app events
  • timestamps rounded to the nearest hour
  • technical device information (for example, device type and OS version)

Names, email addresses, and IP addresses are not collected or stored.

In the event of a crash or a technical error, the app additionally transmits diagnostic data to Sentry: stack traces and error messages, app and operating system version, device type, timestamp, a randomly generated installation ID, and a technical log of the most recent program steps. Screenshots, screen contents, and content created in the app (such as profile names) are not transmitted.

The processing is used to improve app stability, security, functionality, and usability.

Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the service).

IV. Recipients and Storage Location

The recipients of the data are TelemetryDeck (usage analytics) and Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry), USA (crash and error diagnostics), each acting as a service provider.

Processing and storage take place on servers located within the European Union. The diagnostic data is deleted after 30 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Sentry; insofar as data is accessed from the USA, such access is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

V. Data Subject Rights

Data subjects have the rights under Arts. 15 to 22 GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
